Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data Silu (司录) collects, why, and your rights. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

How we use it

To provide and improve the Service, transcribe and polish your speech, manage your subscription, prevent abuse, and comply with law. We rely on your consent and on the performance of our contract with you as legal bases.

Who we share it with

We use trusted processors only to run the Service, including: Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication), Cloudflare (secure gateway), and third-party speech-recognition and AI providers that turn your audio into text. Providers process data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

Where data is processed

We prefer processing within the EU/EEA where feasible. Some AI processing may occur outside the EU; in those cases we use providers and safeguards intended to protect your data, and we route EU users to EU-resident options where required.

Retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required by law (for example, tax rules). Audio is processed transiently to produce your transcript and is not retained by us as a long-term archive. You can delete your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA (or a region with similar laws), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email support@silu.pro. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Silu is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
